Surya Chakrabarti is the founding principal of Surya Law, Law Firm Scarborough. He desired to be a lawyer since his childhood and was determined to defend the rights of individuals. While attending the law schools, he gained legal experiences from Bose & Mitra, one of the legal industry leaders in India. He started a successful practice at the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court, Kolkata, India, and practiced until he moved to Canada.

Surya was privileged to have articled with OWS Law, the leading litigation law firm, and earned in-depth legal experience in real estate from Omar Zahid Law.

Law Firm Scarborough: He currently practices real estate law, immigration law, family law, and wills and Estate law. He appears at the courthouses across GTA.

Surya attended the University of Burdwan, India where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). Subsequently, he pursued his Master of Laws (LLM) from London Metropolitan University, London, the UK with Merit. He received his Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee of Accreditation, Canada. He was called to the Ontario Bar and started private practice.
