Lawyer Shamim Ara, Principal & Founder Lawyer of Ara Law, is an Internationally trained lawyer who is extremely passionate to assist individuals and serve the community through her work and legal expertise. Shamim has accumulated over a decade of experience under her belt teaching law professionally and working in courts. She achieved an LLM Canadian Common Law degree from York University's Osgoode Hall Law School in 2017, and was called to the Bar in 2019.

Lawyer Shamim Ara Prior to commencing her private law firm, Shamim worked at Lewis Law Professional Corporation. For about 5 years (2015-2019) as an associate, joining as a legal intern. Shamim also obtained LL.B (Bachelor of Laws). LL.M (Masters in Law), & MSS (Masters of Social Science in Criminology & Criminal Justice) degrees from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
