The Murid Islamic Community in America (MICA), also known as Masjid Touba, is a vibrant 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves as a spiritual and social hub for the Senegalese and broader Muslim community in New York City. Founded in 1989, MICA is dedicated to promoting the teachings of the Sufi guide Shaykh Ahmadu Bamba in strict accordance with the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
