Description
The Khalsa Diwan Society, located at 1210 Topaz Avenue in Victoria, is a historic and significant Gurdwara that has served as a central spiritual and community hub for the Sikh population of Vancouver Island for over a century. Originally established by Sikh pioneers in 1912, the current, modern building was constructed in 1969 after the original was demolished to accommodate a growing community.
