Dr. Gupta was selected for and completed NYU’s highly competitive 7-year joint degree program. Admission to this accelerated track is extremely selective, admitting only high-performing students who demonstrate the maturity and aptitude to condense undergraduate and doctoral studies.

Rather than going straight into private practice, he was selected for a General Practice Residency at Montefiore in the Bronx. This hospital-based training exposed him to complex trauma and medically compromised patients, providing experience far beyond typical dental school requirements.

During his time at NYU College of Dentistry, he was selected as a Teaching Assistant for first-year simulation courses and served as a Peer Mentor, actively training and guiding the next generation of dentists before he had even graduated.
