Akshay grew up working in the hotel industry and went on to graduate from Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a BS in Finance and Real Estate where he led teams to winning several case competitions in real estate development and portfolio management. Akshay’s role is leading HGG’s Financing arm, finding and overseeing financing for construction and loan renewals, market analysis for new acquisitions, and operational responsibilities like sales and revenue management. Akshay is actively involved in several industry organizations including IHG’s Owner’s Association Holiday Inn Committee, Revenue Management Task Force, and Emerging Leaders Network.
