Located in the historic East Atlanta community, the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam is the largest. And oldest Islamic community in Metro Atlanta, with a legacy dating back to 1958. Adhering to the Qur'an and the life traditions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The Masjid is a vibrant center for religious development, social, educational, and cultural enrichment.
Led by Resident Imam Sulaimaan Hamed, the community is known for its welcoming atmosphere, diversity. And commitment to human dignity and civic involvement. It serves as more than just a place of worship; it is a hub for family values, interfaith dialogue, and community-building initiatives, aiming to create a positive impact throughout its neighborhood and beyond.
