Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Inspecting and preparing fruit: Checking fruit for quality and ripeness before packing, ensuring it is clean and free of damage.
Packaging: Securely packing fruit to prevent damage during transit, ensuring proper cases are used for the correct items.
Labeling: Accurately labeling packages with shipping information, including product details, quantities, and destinations.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace: Keeping the packing and shipping area clean and organized, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
Coordinating with logistics partners: Working with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
Utilizing shipping software: Using software to track orders and shipments, maintaining shipping records and documentation.
Ensuring compliance: Following safety and health regulations, including food safety standards.
Inventory management: Monitoring inventory levels and reporting shortages.
Loading and unloading: Loading and unloading delivery trucks.
Qualifications and Skills:
Attention to detail: Ensuring accurate packing, labeling, and quality control.
Physical stamina: The ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry heavy packages.
