Gursikh Sabha Canada, also known as the Scarborough Gurdwara, is a Sikh place of worship and community hub in the eastern Greater Toronto Area. Since its establishment in 1979, it has been dedicated to upholding Sikh values and serving the community.
Key features
Worship and spirituality: The Gurdwara holds daily religious services with musical chanting (kirtan), and other devotional programs throughout the week. It promotes spiritual enlightenment through readings from the Guru Granth Sahib Ji and educational discussions (katha).
Education: Gursikh Sabha Canada runs the Mata Sahib Kaur Khalsa School, offering educational programs focused on Sikh morals, history, and teachings. The Gurdwara also has a library for community members.
