Trade fairs, technical meetings, and recruitment drives all fall under what the Indian e-Business Visa covers for eligible foreign professionals traveling to India. This category also supports lecture delivery under academic networks, sales negotiations, and exhibition attendance.

Applicants submit a recent photograph, passport bio-page scan, a business visiting card, and an invitation letter from a recognised Indian company. Payment covers both government and service charges, and processing generally completes within a standard timeframe, or faster through urgent service.

Once approved, validity stretches one year from the date granted, allowing multiple entries. Each individual visit, though, must stay within 180 continuous days, and crossing that limit means registering with the local FRRO within two weeks. Paid employment stays outside what this visa permits.
