Description
The Islamic Association of West Virginia, also known as the Islamic Center of West Virginia, is more than a place of worship—it is a vibrant community hub. Built in 1989, the mosque's design "captures the flavor" of the Badshahi Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan, giving it a unique and striking appearance. A two-story structure of concrete block, the center stands as a testament to the growth and generosity of the local Muslim community. It serves as a spiritual and educational resource, fostering interfaith dialogue and offering a variety of programs for both Muslim and non-Muslim residents.
