The Islamic Society of Greenville is an independent, non-profit organization that serves the Muslim community of Greenville, SC, providing a place for worship and education. The organization has been active since 1989 and aims to follow the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah while promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
The facilities include the main Masjid at 96 Meridian Ave and the Upstate Islamic Center (UIC) campus, which features a multi-purpose hall, a full-time Islamic school (As-Sabeel Academy), a playground, and a soccer field. The organization also operates a graveyard in Ware Shoals.
