The Jamaica Muslim Center (JMC), also known as Masjid Al-Mamoor, is one of the largest and most vibrant Islamic community centers in the heart of Jamaica, Queens, New York. Founded in 1976 by Bangladeshi Americans, JMC is a non-profit, independent. And non-sectarian organization dedicated to promoting Islamic awareness and facilitating the socio-economic welfare of the common people. More than just a place of worship, JMC acts as a vital hub for the community, providing extensive educational, social, and confidential counseling services to individuals and families, all within an environment of constant remembrance of Allah (God).
