Shilpi Banerjee, Esq., is the Founder and Principal Attorney at Banerjee Law. She is a licensed attorney, admitted to practice law in California and Colorado, and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Prior to founding Banerjee Law, she worked as an Associate Attorney for more than 8 years at a boutique business immigration law firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has helped secure U.S. visas and permanent residence (green cards) for startup founders, research scientists, company executives, managers, and professionals in a variety of industries.

​Ms. Banerjee is an immigrant herself and moved to the United States from her hometown in New Delhi, India. As a first generation American and immigration attorney, she brings a unique perspective and empathy for clients navigating the intricacies of the U.S. immigration system. She earned a J.D. (Juris Doctor) degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder, Colorado. In addition, she has a Master’s degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, India, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi, India.
