Description
Founded in 1973, the Sikh Society of Florida stands as one of the oldest and most vibrant Sikh communities in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale area. What began as monthly deewans in private homes has grown into a dedicated Gurdwara Sahib that welcomes Sikhs and non-Sikhs alike. The center celebrates Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s prakash utsav with heartfelt devotion and hosts regular religious services, cultural events, and educational programs. Rooted in the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the Gurdwara fosters unity, seva (selfless service), and spiritual growth. It remains a cornerstone of Sikh life in South Florida, offering a space for reflection, celebration, and community connection.
