Established in 1983, the temple serves as a spiritual and cultural center for the Sikh community in the Greater Sacramento area. The complex features a 15,000-square-foot prayer hall, a 5,000-square-foot second floor, and a 26,000-square-foot Langar Hall (community kitchen) that provides free meals to all visitors, embodying the Sikh principles of Seva (selfless service) and equality.
