Sumit Ahuja was born and raised in Surrey, B.C., where he completed his post-secondary education. After high school, he attended the University of British Columbia and obtained his Bachelor of Arts with a focus on Psychology and Sociology in 2006.

He thereafter attended Law School in Gold Coast, Australia where he obtained his Juris Doctor Law Degree.

After working in Australia after obtaining his Juris Doctor, he returned to Canada and received his Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee of Accreditation.

He has been a lawyer in British Columbia since April 15, 2011.

He has worked for numerous firms in British Columbia and has experience in all levels of Court in the Province and has appeared in the Federal Court of Appeal of Canada. He travels throughout the Province to assist his clients and has appeared in the Supreme Court of Yukon and the Court of Queen’s Bench in Alberta.

He is a fierce advocate for his clients. He is a qualified family law mediator and arbitrator.
